Personnel
Our team is leaded by Eva García Muntión as Strategic Manager. As scientific personel, our three labs are leaded and coordinated by Juan Cristobal Pereda Granados (R&D Manager) with the invaluable advise of Dr. Javier de Lope for scientific issues. R&D Engineer M. sc: Manuel Martín Ortiz -
Strategic Manager: Eva García Muntión.
Founder of ITRB Labs, she accounts 12 years of experience in the deployment of new technologies within enterprises (multinational and small and medium companies) and in the design, development and implementation of R&D integral corporate strategies in the area of Information and Communication Technologies, taking full advantage of innovation towards the enhancement of competitiveness.
R&D Manager: Juan Cristobal Pereda Granados
M.Sc. in Computing Engineering by the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Researcher for the
UPM group on computational perception and robotics. He has worked on different projects on Artificial Intelligence in the area of mobile robotics, focussed in the structural design and development of base architectures and control algorithms, monitoring mechanisms and navigation & coordination for multi-robot modular cooperative systems. Particularly, he has worked in the development of technologies for the control of jointed robots by applying evolutionary methods such as genetic algorithms, and in the development of biped robots by solving the issue of inverse kinematics using neuronal networks for leveraging adaptability and learning capabilities.
Scientific Adviser for the Multi-Robot Systems Laboratory: Javier de Lope
Dr de Lope is an associate professor in the Applied Intelligent Systems Department and member of the Perception for Computers and Robots research group of the Universidad Politécnica de Madrid (UPM). Expert in modular and cooperative robotic systems, he works in the design and development of control systems, as well as the analysis of mechanisms for their monitoring, navigation and coordination.
Scientific Adviser for the Voice Smart Systems Laboratory
Under negotiation with Universidad Politécnica de Madrid.
R&D Engineer: Manuel Martín Ortiz.
MANUEL MARTÍN ORTIZ - R&D Engineer M.Sc in Computing Engineering by the UPM. Researcher for the UNED group on artificial inteligence and robotics (http://www.ia.uned.es/). He has worked on AVISADOS project (http://www.ia.uned.es/investig/grupos/simda/avisados/index.html) on multirobot area, project financed by the Spanish Ministry of Education and Science, focussed in identify and detect potentially dangerous scenarios. Likewise, he has worked in the development of communication libraries for robots, as well as "Neural Networks", "Data Mining" and "Reinforcement Learning" areas
